she is such a wonderful mama.

they all come home tomorrow... yay! many many more photos to come I'm sure!! I'll leave it for rach to post the first sibling shot when she gets in :)

they are just so perfect and precious and teeny tiny. love them.

one of the very few photos I've taken of them so far. I'm sure we'll make up for it in the next few weeks!!

it's amazing how so very different they are. she is so fair and blonde, and he is so dark.. and she is a feisty lil critter and he is just mr chill.

rach is doing an amazing incredible job with them. it's exhausting, but she is a trooper and such a great mama.

poor wee gem is sick with a sinus infection though, so hasn't been able to see them so much :(

poor little dude is in the hospital with suspected kidney infection. he was in for the same thing this time last year too.

one of his little kidneys was badly damaged by urinary reflux when he was tiny and runs at only 10% functionality. normal people kidneys run at 50% each. so his other kidney is working at 90%... they were going to consider going in to take out the sickly one at 18 months and letting the other one do the full job. looks like it's gotten him sick again though :( I don't know a whole lot yet, but will update when I do...

so any thoughts/vibes/prayers in his direction would be appreciated muchly.

UPDATE
turns out it's not a kidney infection this time around, but a bad case of the flu and an ear infection, apparently the flu symptoms are quite similar to what they would expect with the kidney infections. thanks for all the well wishes! will keep you updated with what happens with the kidney in future

him too... so wish I could have put him in my suitcase ;) although he'd miss his mama FAR too much, he is a mama's boy through and through
